We’re so thrilled you chose to visit and we understand that you’re doing so of your own free will.  By visiting, viewing, accessing or otherwise using any of the services or information created, collected, offered, compiled by, posted on, or submitted to or its owner EatOrToss LLC, you agree to be bound by the following conditions of use (“conditions”).

We’re sharing the best information we can on dragons, but we can’t offer guarantees as to accuracy.

We do not advocate or condone violence.

This site is for entertainment, educational, informational, and commercial purposes only. You agree that all information provided on is offered for these purposes only and is not medical, dietary, zoological, legal, scientific or other professional advice. Within the scope of this site’s purposes, we do our scaly best to post up-to-date information that we believe to be entertaining, and also at times educational, informational or commercial, but we cannot warrant its accuracy or completeness. This is, after all, a website devoted to the study of dragons! We want to have fun with that and we want you to have fun with that and not take anything in our worldbuilding too seriously. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you upload images to or otherwise share images with, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements are identifiable as paid advertisements as they are in self-contained boxes, offset from the site’s main content.

We are not compensated to provide opinions on products, services, websites or various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely our own. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise and research, are worthy of such endorsement.

When we link to products or services, it is possible that these links could be affiliate links. That means that if a person buys something from one of our affiliate links, the seller may give us (not you) a small amount of money that does not come from you.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can have the option to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Our hosting company’s privacy policy

Our website resides on the servers of a company we have contracted to provide hosting. Hosting companies generally follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
